Christmas Thank You with Digital Delights

I am so excited to be a guest designer for Digital Delights by Louby Loo!
If you are not familiar with Digital Delights be sure to check out their cute and fun images HERE!

Now that the Christmas rush is mostly over, I still have one more Christmas party this weekend, it's time to start sending out thank you notes!

Today I am showcasing Digital Delights Holly Thank You and the cute snowman from Christmas Toppers #6.

I printed the snowman image twice, coloring both images with Copic markers.  I then fussy cut the complete image from one print and just the hands and hat from the second print.  I popped the image up with from tape.  I then added foam tape to the hands and hat to pop them up from the base image.  It is hard to tell the dimension in the picture.  I added Wink of Stella to the puff on top of the hat and to the holly on the hat.  I used red gems for the holly berries on the Thank You panel.   I embossed the green background layer with a snowflake embossing folder and added a little ribbon behind the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!  Wishing you a very happy and blessed 2016!

TMS #332 Annual Anything Goes!

Happy Tuesday before Christmas!

It's once again time for our annual Tuesday Morning Sketches Anything Goes Challenge!  This will be a two week challenge, and as the title says, anything goes!  So it's time to show us what crafty goodies your making!

Melissa is sponsoring our prize for this challenge.  She has put together a wonderful prize package of stamps, dies, papers, embellishments and maybe a surprise or two!

This week I am sharing my 2015 Christmas card.
A very simple CAS card.

The idea for this card actually came from Rapport Fran ett skrivbord.  Her work is so beautiful and I love the image, so I decided to CASE her card for my Christmas cards this year.  My water coloring skills are no where near as good as on the original.  The image is called Poinsettia Corner by Serendipity Stamps. I used my Inktense water color pencils to color the image.  I also added a little Wink of Stella to the candle glow.

Be sure to stop by the other DT member's bogs, they have some great inspiration ready for you!
Take time to wish them a Merry Christmas!

Winner and TMS with DRS!

Good morning everyone!  Welcome back for another Tuesday Morning Sketch!

Now back to business!  We have a great sketch this week, and an even greater sponsor!
This week our prize is from DRS Designs!  We have a $10.00 DRS gift certificate for one lucky participant!

Now for this week's sketch!

And my take....'

I used DRS's Vertical Triple Tree on the main image panel.  Minimal coloring made this card quick,
I need quick right now since I still have not mailed my Christmas cards!  My goal is to have them ready to be mailed this Thursday.
Just a hint of color and snowflakes along the swirl to help give the effect of blowing snow.
I tried to create a feeling of a close up of the tree branch on the top image panel.  I used a branch die and small bird dies to create this little scene.  I stamped some small snowflakes onto the sentiment panel before stamping the sentiment.

Now for more inspiration, see what the other designers have created this week!

I am celebrating my birthday by giving away some Unity!!

Here's a little Christmas card I just put together.
Just in time to join in the Unity Hop!
I used my Silhouette cutting machine to cut out this cute little town from Unity's O Holy Night Itty Bitty.  I used the image twice for this card.  I colored the images with Copics, then popped up the middle image with foam tape.  Added a little star, then framed the little scene with a pierced oval frame from MFT.

I am giving away a special Unity Thank You prize.  Click HERE, scroll to the bottom of the post to see how to enter my Birthday Giveaway!

My image this week is from Tiddly Inks.  I went with some none traditional colors for this week's card.   The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils.  I stamped the sentiment in gold ink then used clear embossing powder to heat set it.  I then added a few iridescent snowflakes and some sequins.

TMS and Bugaboo!

Happy Tuesday after Thanksgiving!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!
I am back with another Tuesday Morning Sketch.
This week our sponsor is one of my personal favorites, Bugaboo Stamps!
I love the fun and humorous stamps that Bugaboo offers!
Wanna chance to win some of these fun images for yourself?  Then come and play along with us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Here is this weeks sketch.

This week I created a shaker card!

I used Bugaboo's Christmas Ornaments image for my card.  I love the retro look of these ornaments and tried to keep that feel with the colors I used.  The ornaments were colored with Prismacolor pencils and Distress ink markers.  I did add a little sparkle to the ornaments with my glitter pen, even though it is hard to tell in the picture.  I used a Martha Steward punch for the little evergreen boughs; I then added a jingle bell die and some sequins.  I filled my shaker with chunky glitter and sequins.

Now be sure to check out what the other DT members created this week.
